In-between seasons, GOMTV will be giving StarCraft 2 fans a treat in the shape of an eight-man invitational tournament that sends homage to the runner-ups of 2010 and 2011.
The tournament will feature the recent Blizzard Cup silver medalist DongRaeGu, as well as the GSL November secnd Leenock. Add to that the oGs duo TOP and InCa, as well as Losira, July and Hopetorture. And last but not least, the one with three runner-up positions in GSL, the one to fill the eighth spot is MarineKing.
The tournament map pool will feature two new maps, in the shape of Metropolis and ESV Cloud Kingdom. The other maps featured are Dual Sight, Antiga Shipyard, Bel'Shir Beach, Daybreak and Entombed Valley.
The event kicks off on January 2 and runs til January 5.
Prize money sums oup to 4,040,000 KRW (€2,666 EUR) of which 2,220,000 (€1,465 EUR) is given to the champion.
