GosuGamers talked to Silviu "NightEnD" Lazar before the upcoming DreamHack Winter 2011 tournament. He says that he hopes to do better at DreamHack after having not such a good year.
How has the preparations for DreamHack been going? Have you been doing any special bootcamping or practice sessions?
- I didn't do anything in particularly because they just announce the groups, I only played ladder and custom games as I normaly do but I think more then usually for the past 2 weeks, like 10 hours daily.
So what do you think of your group? Have you had any experiences playing Osho and NaRa before? What are your thoughts on EGPuMa?- I have played before with osho and puma they both are good and about nara I don't know who he is and I have to win my group also I dont think anything in particularly about puma just a terran player.
How do you feel your shape is right now? Any special matchups you're struggling with or that you feel you've made a breakthrough in?
- Hmm I think pvz is hard because zerg is a bit stronger then PVP is a bit random but I can't say I struggle vs any of the matchups. I feel very confident going in to any matchup at the moment , my mind set is where it should be so yes I'm confident I can do good.
This event will sort of "sum up" the European StarCraft 2 year. How do you feel this year has been for you? What will you take with you in 2012?
- Well I had no major tournament win the only notable ones are 3rd at The Gathering , 4th at SEC and 1st at Dreamhack balkan I hope I can do better now at dreamhack winter . 2011 I think it was not a good year for me atleast and I'm sure 2012 will bring me atleast 1 win at a major event.
Your video blogs have received quite a lot of attention, will you give your fans more of those from DreamHack?
- Yes I will if I got the time :)
