Naniwa is the first grand finalist of MLG Providence as he completely outmatched his opponent. Naniwa is guaranteed $25,000 and looking forward to double that amount should he win another PvZ at the grand final.
DongRaeGu's resistance in those two games was virtually zero as Naniwa marched toward a very anticlimactic WB final victory. Naniwa made but a single mistake in game one failing to destroy DRG's third with his zealot push but corrected that later with a stalker drop followed by a strong gateway push. Nani's forcefields downed the potency of DRG's army and the zerg straight on lost the game without being able to do anything.
Same thing happened on Metalopolis as DRG opened with a gold first into a big roach play but Naniwa calmly teched to Colossi and used his sick micro to zone out DRG's army, kill his gold, climb the ramp to his main and walk out of the booth a grand finalist.
Naniwa's opponent in the grand final will be the winner of Leenock and DongRaeGu who will play an extended series starting from 2-0 for DRG.
