Jung Hoon "MarineKing" Lee prevailed over the War3 legend gone protoss Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen to climb onto the top 3 ESWC platform, grabbing the $8,000 bronze prize.

MarineKing went unchallenged throughout almost the whole tournament, finally falling 0-2 to Stephano in the semi-finals, thus having to play Grubby, who lost to the other ESWC grand finalist Mana.

MarineKing sprinted to an early lead with reactor hellion aggression, seizing 20 probes of Grubby - an advantage that would later escalate to victory as a medivac drop sniped the expo of the protoss and forced out a GG.

Grubby sprung back on Terminus, opening 1-base pressure into expand and transitioning to a strong immortal play that completely nullified the monstrosity that was MarineKing's mech army.

This was, however, the only map that Grubby could take out of MarineKing as the Korean scored two crushing victories on Tal'Darim Altar and Shakuras Plateau, grabbing his bronze medal with an overwhelming marauder force on the final map.

With this match over, ESWC is just one series away from completion as Stephano will play Mana in the grand final for the championship title and $26,000 first place prize.
