With a 2-0 victory (4-1 counting the extended series score) against oGsMC in the grand final, EG's Chris "HuK" Loranger is crowned MLG Orlando champion, setting up a couple of milestones in MLG history.
In one of the shortest televised series at Orlando, HuK emerged victorious after a 4-gate victory on Altar and defending MC's cannon rush into DT opening on Caverns. Those were the only two wins that the Canadian needed having the extended series rule on his side and thus brings home the $5,000 first place prize.

By being crowned MLG Orlando champion, HuK sets up a few corner-stones as far as MLG history is concerned. He is the only two-times MLG champion (winning MLG Raleigh 2010 as well) thus far and is also the only non-Korean (and the only protoss) to win an MLG tournament since the beginning of the GSL/MLG exchange program.
