The first of four Cyber Sports Network playHEROES Points Cups will be held this weekend, leading up to a Series Finals between the teams who accumulate the most points.
This tournament is part of CSN's playGAMES Cup Series 1, which includes StarCraft II, League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth, QuakeLive, and Call of Duty: Black Ops.
The playHEROES Cup Series is free to join and will be streamed on Twitch.tv, with commentary by FourCourtJester.
The first playHEROES Points Cup will be held this Sunday at 7:30 PM EDT, with more Points Cups following on consecutive weeks. The winner of each Points Cup will receive $200, and teams will collect points for playing and winning matches, plus bonuses for placing in the top 4. The top teams based on points will then play in the playHEROES Cup Series 1 Finals on Sunday, November 20 for $800 in cash prizes.
