In less than two days, a new event of the anually hosted Electronic Sports Thailand Championship will take place at the Siam Paragon in Bangkok. GosuGamers is represented on site through David 'GoDz' Parker who will host a DotA stream live from the venue and provide us with first-hand Twitter updates.
32 teams will tread the path through a round robin groupstage, followed by single elimination playoffs. Each of the eight groups will pair two local teams, with either two teams from abroad or two Thai invites along the likes of MitH-Trust or Neolution, who have to face strong competition from all over Asia this year. Malaysia is represented by Orange, InV-ReD and possibly MUFC (to be confirmed), whereas Singapore will field AEONSports, PMS and, for the first in mint condition, MYM. Also attending will be the Philippine Mineski teams, Ritter-ART from Indonesia and female squad EVE from China. Last year's event was won by Nirvana.my after sensationally defeating the highly favoured EHOME in the grand finals.
The coverage hub to the right has just been switched live and will direct you to all relevant information, that have been made public so far. Stay tuned for further updates, watch the coverage hub grow and follow the event from the 6th until the 9th of October all day long.
