Dailymotion to sponsor €5,000 ESL event

Dailymotion throw themselves into the battle for eSport video and stream traffic. The video sharing platform is set to sponsor a cup with a €5,000 prize pool.

24 players will be invited to the May event, while eight spots are open for qualifiers.

The first 12 players was announced a couple of days ago, and include Adelscott, ClouD, DarK.FoRcE, MaNa, GoOdy, DIMAGA, Naniwa, Happy, MorroW, NightEnD, Satiini and Stephano.

The tournament will be run by the Electronic Sports League administration.

The 32 players will be paired up in eight groups, where top two from each move on to a knock-out playoff.

The qualifiers will be held on the two upcoming Tuesdays, April 19 and 26.
