It was at DreamHack Winter 2010 that Jesper "Bischu" Johansson was eliminated from the group stage by a coin toss. He unluckily picked the wrong side of a coin in a direct elimination coin toss round. This after having ended in a tiebreaker stalemate with "Socke" and "Naama".
Today, DreamHack announced a tournament that will make amends to Bischu. In what is the start of the "Dreamhack Sapphire AMD Championship", 64 players will go at it in a single elimination tournament where every second round is decided by a coin toss.
The tournament will be played on March 29, and the top matches will be live streamed on DreamHack. The news post promises matches to be "shoutcasted by some of the best casters in the world".
The winner of the 64-man tournament will play "Bischu" in a 10,000 SEK (€1,110 EUR) match. The winner will also get a spot in the finals at DreamHack Winter 2011.
