
Kim Won Gi a.k.a. FruitDealer is probably one of the best known names in the worldwide SC2 scene. Winning a GSL with a race that seemed quite weak at the time, the daring Zerg has made many fans across the community. Now, he sits down with Kotaku to share some thoughts on his life and the game.
FruitDealer's first words explain the origin of his nickname and the relationship with his family and then he proceeds to share his first impressions of StarCraft 2. He shares his difficulties adapting to the 3D graphics and the frustration of being beaten constantly by oGsSpunky. However, as we all know, he quickly became on the best Zergs in the world.
In addition, FruitDealer says that he does not practice that much as one would expect from a pro-gamer. It seems that GSL 1 champion spends just around 3-4 hours daily in StarCraft 2. Furthermore, his thoughts go back to the first GSL when he crushed everyone to win it all.
