Evil Geniuses [EG]

Evil Geniuses are reknowned for their aggressive style play, with only the best of the best such as FnaticMSI able to match them. Since beta, the team consisting of highly skilled individuals have been running stuff like Magmus and Blacksmith solo mid, and won, against formidable opponents. They were probably also the first team to successfully introduce Scout into a competitive game, and it was in the finals of the x6 SideWinder tournament, with a sponsorship on the line. It doesn't get any ballsy than that.

Aside from in-game stuff, the team is also a bunch of pleasant funny guys often showed by their interviews. Star player chu, in particular tends to handle interviews with a hint of humour. The team was also known to beatbox during an in-game pause during a vent cast. Overall aside from a high skill level the boys from Evil Geniuses are certainly also entertaining to watch.

Empire Multigaming [Empr]

When they 1st made their debut, PhB made a huge impact as Phe`V beat chu's Hag mid with a Night Hound thanks to constant ganks by both support players. This along with all the hype surrounding Phe`V a DotA pro converting to HoN certainly created a lot of buzz. They're particularly famous for running surprise picks, especially against EG as they demonstrated once again at the Honcast Invitational when Phe`V's Keeper of the Forest surprise pick caught Loaded off guard and destroyed `pokedex at mid.

However, as well as they play against the best of the best, it's sometimes quite astounding how they can lose or struggle to barely beat 2nd tier teams. That inconsistency while bad for results and depressing for the fans, certainly provides more incentive for a neutral bystander to follow their games as you never really know what will happen. Star player Phe`V is also known for his public clan-hopping pranks, having once donned the [MSI] tag for a day as a joke.

Dotally rad dot com [DRD]

While not being exactly the best in terms of skill level, it's hard to deny the comedic value that thier blog provides to the community. The humour behind the blogposts may not be for everyone, and might get out of hand at times when directed at certain individuals, but in the end, all is good so long that it's all either in good fun or in the case of a post-game bashing, just a frustrated rant.

In-game, DRD are well-known for their occassional antics when getting overconfident against their opponents. It's cost them a game before but they managed to win the series 2-1 overall. They once also picked a team of 5 heroes with beards and won. Quite a few comedic HoN videos were produced by the DRD members and you can check them out at dotallyrad.com.

Dirty Minds [DM]

Dirty Minds has won the hearts of many ever since their debut in the competitive scene back in beta. Knocking out WHP from a GameReplays semifinals with a superb Ophelia and running an insane all-in push strat against 5 in the final (although sadly they lost). They're also one of the 1st teams to do a lvl 1 Kongor rush in a competitive game.

With many new faces coming and going towards the end of 2010, hopefully with their current roster which seems to be the closest to their original one will be able to continue to dazzle the crowd with new and fresh tactics executed in competitive games.

DuskBin eSports [DskB]

A team that's probably second to only Evil Geniuses when it comes to natural team synergy and positioning, DuskBin exhibits some very similar playstyles to the American powerhouse at times. The team excels in playing extremely aggressively, and most of them know the ideal time to turn around and fight with low health.

Odd item choices are rare but do happen from time to time. Who could forget zekaykay's Soulstealer that went for both Portal Key and Assassin's Shroud. The team has a lot of potential, with some more refining of their skills and hopefully the improvement of internet in the Philippines, they will be able to produce more impressive performances for their fans.
