Many people didn't understand you decision, when you made the change from Counter Strike: Source to HoN - Why did you do it?
“My decision to quit CSS had nothing to do with HoN, it was simply a choice I made together with my current team (ex-Vitriolic) when we lost the will to search for a new orgaisation again after too many let-downs. After the CGS I lost some of the interest of CSS as the game itself lost alot of focus in general, this together with me picking up my studies made me stop playing. I’ve always been playing dota/HoN on a fun basis and when I got the oppertunity to step it up a notch I went for it!”
You were playing from Vitrolic back in the days. Do you ever miss the feeling about you, playing competetive CS:S?
“I sure do. I have loads of memories from teams and events that I’ll never forget, and when I see my former mates Helblinde and Fifflaren pick up their guns again I sure feel tempted! But for the time being I don’t have the time or the motivation to take up CSS again so I doubt that you will see me attending a CSS event any time soon. But you should never say never.”
What do you have to say about the HoN scene, compared to the Counter Strike: Source scene?
“Compared to CSS it’s still quite small and it doesn’t require as much practice to play on a higher level. I still think that we will see the scene grow alot and after a while it might even pass the size of CSS.”
Will the ex-CS:S star show his versatility and make a big impact in HoN as he did in his CS:S prime? Only time will tell. Reason Gaming have definitely showed that they have the potential, but will they break into the top 10 of the scene is the question.
