Welcome Gentlemen, many people already know you from several appearances in our ADC bets and replays, but please introduce yourself for those who don’t.
Everest: Hi, I am Subodh Dumbre also known as Everest. I am 19 years old and currently in my third year studying Engineering, next to playing both Football and DotA professionally; Dota for about two years now.
Phobia: Hi, this is Anup Dustakar. I have been playing DotA for two and a half years, while putting a big part of my emphasis on improving Esports in India. Im currently working on my Bachelor of Science in IT and lead our team 3gp.
Please describe yourself and your teammates a bit more in detail. How are the roles in the team distributed?
Everest: Our team consists of phobia , riskz , Evil-ash , Prophecy, Acrid and myself. Prophecy and Acrid are our main carries, but currently inactive due to personal reasons. Riskz is our semi-carry; Evil-ash, phobia and myself fit into any required role, whereas the support duties mainly lie on phobia and Evil-ash.
Phobia: We recently extended our roster by adding jigabumba. He was part of our team, when we won the ADC South Asian Qualifiers and will help out supporting. This way, Everest gets to play carries more often
How would you describe each other in terms of playstyle and character?
Everest: Concerning Phobias gameplay, I think he fits into any role, but avoids playing carry heroes. He already was a total Professional when I started my career, so I have learned a lot from him.
Phobia: Everest is one of the quickest learners, I have ever seen. He is a very versatile player and loves to carry, but rarely gets the chance to. By now, its lucky for him though since prophecy is inactive.
ADC is played on version 6.68, how do you like the new drafting mode?
Everest: I feel its better than what we had in 6.67c mainly, because the reworked order gives you a second chance to recover from possible mistakes, should you have made some.
Phobia: I love the new method of banning, picking then banning again, because you have both a better opportunity to choose, what suits your preferences and an easier time counterpicking an opponents lineup.
Everest: Plus an extra ban is always welcome, since so many new heroes gained strength and were and still are played at the peak of their potential.
How do you prepare for a DotA match? Are you watching replays of your opponents and try to develop something against them, or do you rather work on your own tactics and playstyle.
Everest: I do watch games, but its not part of my daily routine, as my real life schedule doesn't allow it. If at all, I check a few carefully selected replays when there is time left.

You will face Battlegrounds and Aeon.sg in ADC's upcoming round. Whats your opinion on them and how do you see your chances?
Everest: Well, this is our first ADC season, so we enter every match with the same excitement. Concerning Battlegrounds, I haven’t seen them play yet, to be honest, but I’ll make sure, to check their replays, by the time we schedule the match.
Phobia: Aeon.Sg is a tough opponent to look out for. Their strategies are awesome and always surprising. As for our chances, if our internet works great, we’ll make sure to put up a good fight!
Phobia: Although the strongest impression came from AEON.MuFc, I would love to see Nirvana.cn winning. They and Nirvana.my are my Favourites.
Everest: Well as you know, we played a few top teams like SB and the above mentioned thus far. To pick out one, I was very thrilled to take on Nirvana.cn, as I have grown as a player, watching their games. Battling them was a lot of fun! Overall, I think the team with the best form on the day of the playoffs, will make the race. It will just come down to who plays better then, but the usual suspects Nv.cn, LGD and AEON.MuFc have good chances.
We had a big discussion about delay-, ping- and hosting issues after the MYM Prime Defending tournament. Whats playing in the ADC like? Are there certain disadvantages, or is it fair in general.
Everest: ADC is totally fair. We get to check the host before the match. In our case though, the previous place we played at, had a few internet issues, so there were problems on some playdays. But we passed that, since our current LAN center is very good. About MYM PriDe there's no need to comment at all, as it was clearly visible how asian teams permormed; especially the Chinese. I mean come on, the way LGD played in finals wasn’t even 10 percent of what they are capable of, offline.
The ADC is currently five playdays long. Are you satisfied with your performances?
Everest:We obviously aren’t satisfied with our performances so far, but we improve slowly but steadily. That close game against SB and the draw versus Mcity were very pleasing. I feel its time for us to win a few more games now. You know, being a gamer in India is very tough as the people here won’t settle for anything less than a win.
Phobia: Its our first time, being part of an international online tourney and we are trying to adapt to the hosts and opponents. We are getting better day by day, but couldnt implement it under the recent internet issues. I just hope that things settle down, so we can perform better than ever.

Everest: Finishing among the top 10 is our aim but that doesnt seem very realistic, looking at the current situation. We will try to win as many matches as possible from now on. For the future (next season), should we get the chance to attend, we will surely position ourselves within the best 10 at least. Thats a promise to all Indians!
Phobia: It would be very nice, if we could achieve some wins for a better placing in the upcoming rounds. As for the future, I am trying and will try hard to improve the esports scenery in India. I am currently working with Rapture Gaming and Reinforcement, a gaming event specialist company, who organizes bigger and better Esports events in India.
Thats great! Would you describe your work there a little bit? Is there anything we can expect from you in the near future, in terms of projects, etc?
Phobia: Being with Rapture Gaming over time, has helped me a lot to reach many gamers in India.
Talking about the esports scene in our country, its damn tough to make it better.
We just finished two seasons of 'Indian Cyber Gaming Championship', next to a couple of 'God of Gaming' events; all of these lead to a lot of positive feedback.
Today, we are preparing for the next season of ICGC and working with Anciliary & Everest on improving the Indian Dota League. We want to make it a platform, where all indian gamers have the opportunity to improve and spend time.
Very impressive! Thank you alot, thats all. The last word is on you. Is there anything you’d like to say?
Everest: Thanks GosuGamers for doing this interview with us and giving us the opportunity to connect with the whole DotA community! Good Luck to our indian counterparts JnP for their games!
And shoutout to rinkle, CinQKKor , Phunsuk_Wangdu, Anc!lary, the best indian admin *smiles* and Yogi, the owner of Rapture Gaming!
Phobia: Shoutout to all our fans - Your support is all we need to be the best !
And to our beloved friends Chiklya aka micro_eyes and GodsFuneral RIP.
