With the HoN World Cup coming ever closer, GosuGamers continues providing coverage of it's 16 seeded teams. This time we venture to the Oceanic region, where team Interpol resides.

Thanks for doing this, why don’t you begin by introducing yourself?
-“I'm Luke '`Cujo' Perry and I'm captain of Interpol, an Australian HoN team. I'm 18. In my spare time I play HoN, kickbox, and study biomedical science at the University of Melbourne.”
How did the team start off at first? Who is the core of the squad and what are their roles?
-“A few years back me and my two brothers and some real-life mates of ours used to have a DotA team and we would play in LAN competitions, we won a few tournaments but nothing big, we were small time. Since the end of '09 we've had major roster changes and have started competing, playing with the following lineup:
`Cujo - Captain/grand tactician/extreme baller, I usually play mid solo or the trilane carry, depending on who we draft. So as you can see by now we have 3 players capable of carrying and/or soloing - something that is more or less a necessity in today's metagame.
DoomDriver - Mike usually plays the trilane carry, and on occasion the mid or sidelane solo (bloody metagame)
Wytaliba - Dave's the token sheepophile (New Zealander ) of the group and he's also the newest member. He will fill the role of mid lane or sidelane solo, once again depending on who we draft.
BoBo_ - Kieton is our token ranga (redhead), you might catch glimpses of him in his 'ranga rage' in which case you should leave him alone. He does theatre IRL. He is our token babysitter and ward-whore and is one of the best in the world, as proclaimed by SK-Gaming's Bdiz. That's Interpol. I believe I have hand picked the cream of the crop from the AU/NZ scene and that we have what it takes to compete against the best.”
`jitters - Harry is my best mate and we met in high school. He's our token griefer, if you see him lose his lane you will most likely spot him ricing in the jungle or nuking the carry's creep stacks. He plays the more aggressive/roaming support in our trilane setup.
It’s probably safe to say that the AU/NZ scene isn’t as big as the US/EU scenes. With such a limited pool of players, who do you usually train against?
-“While we are undefeated in AU/NZ competitions and ladders, and practice mostly against other 1800 AU/NZ clans such as PLOW/WASP, we also practice against a lot of American teams in scrims, IHs and no-abs. For example, we're 1-1 against DWi where in our win I took a dump on sLicKz mid. We haven't played against an EU team, which we will do for the first time this Sunday for the World Cup.”

[IPL]`Cujo and [IPL]`jitters
-“Hopefully we make it to the playoffs and spark some more interest amongst our fellow oceanians. Although I see us as a bit of a dark horse, we are bosses. Considering I've already taken a dump on freshpro mid on USE, we will have no trouble obliterating any european team if we get to play on USW (thumbs crossed that USW is the mid-point between AUS/EU). Our telecommunications system is a series of plastic cups attached by string, and we often get pings over 9000.”
Will we be seeing you guys play professionally in the future? Are there any sponsorships in the works?
-“Bloody oath, mate! We have just now got a solid 5 for the first time (we previously had to use 1 or 2 ringers for tournaments) and it will be REALLY interesting to see how we grow, especially now with the introduction of AU servers where we get <30 pings. We have been approached by multiple small-time e-sports communities willing to take us on but the promise of a 'free gb RAM' and use of their vent server wasn’t enough for us.”
That’s all for now. Thanks for your time. Final words?
-"Thanks for the interview, mate. Shoutout to MISSY and SLICKZ, HoN's cutest couple!"
