Hayder "HayprO" Hussein will go up against Pedro "LucifroN" Moreno Durán today in the grand final of the GosuCup StarCraft 2 Beta Invitational. The two players will battle for the 300$ first prize, while the runner up can patch up his wounds with 150$.
Hussein has carved his name in the European StarCraft scene after showcasing the best and most prosperous Zerg play. Being ranked in first place of our ranking, and holding two tournament wins (CraftCup #4, ZOTAC #5), the Swedish player from Mousesports is a tough opponent for anyone to take on.
The other side of the grand final holds the late blooming WarCraft 3 star LucifroN. After a successful but short career in the WarCraft 3 scene, LucifroN was one of the few who transitioned into the StarCraft 2 beta early on. Being along with numerous tournament top placements the 19-year-old has really proven he is no easy fish to tamper with.
The two will kick off after our bronze match, which will feature Victor "Nazgul" Goossens against Benjamin "DeMusliM" Baker - two players who have also been very successful in the beta so far, ranked 4th and 5th.
