The Game Rating Board of South Korea has announced that StarCraft 2 won't be allowed for people under the age of 18.

The Korea Times writes that StarCraft 2 contains too much violence, bad language and a wrong way of picturing drug use for children, which made the Game Rating Board of South Korea set a rating of 18+ to the game.

This means the game won't be playable for persons under the age of 18. The Game Rating Board of South Korea earlier announced an age rating of 15+ for the game when they tested one of it's earlier versions, but has now changed their minds which could lead to an objection from Blizzard Entertainment.

The spokeswoman for Blizzard Entertainment Korea commentated the issue by saying they're discussing their official position, and how to react to the matter.

- "We're a little baffled by the inclusion of 'drug use' in the ratings charge sheet, but maybe South Korea knows something we don't."
