- "There are 512 players and such a tournament can take up to 6-7-8 hours of straight gaming without being able to leave the PC and this is the most boring thing I can imagine. I prefer a tournament such as the GosuCup Invitational where you play one round every few days or one round per week," says Mondragon to GosuGamers.
- "I've played Nazgul once but you can't really judge anyone's skill on 1 game, but apparently he's very good considering his tournament performances. I am definitely the underdog here because I've not participated in any tournament so far."
"I have a tough time to judge people's skill in SC2 in general. Only thing I know is, that he performed well in ESL and I don't know about TL.net Invitational. I'm not reading too much about tournaments atm and you barely play top players in the ladder and therefore its hard to judge his skill," says Mondragon.
Like many, Mondragon has put StarCraft: Brood War aside. Mondragon has only played one clanwar after the TeamLiquid Starleague final. With his focus on StarCraft 2, he is liking it so far.
- "Considering the state the game is in, the balance is pretty good, but there are still quite some bugs as well as some smaller things that need to be fixed," admits Mondragon.
Have you encountered or performed any zergling run bys so far?
- Heh, good question! Until the pathing got patched my only strategy in ZvP was to make lings only and sneak through the ramp and kill the Protoss! Good times... (laughs)
