The gold laner for Team Liquid PH will take a break for the upcoming season of MPL Philippines.
Team Liquid PH announced their lineup for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 15 will not include star gold laner 
Frederic Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales, who will be taking a break from competitive play for the upcoming season.
Former Blacklist International player Kiel Calvin “OHEB” Soriano will be filling the gold lane position for Team Liquid PH in Bennyqt's absence, with Masayuki “YukTzy” Fujita as the former's deputy.
Aside from a new gold laner, Team Liquid PH have also welcomed a new head coach in former Falcon Esports coach Rodel “Ar Sy” B.Cruz as Harold “Tictac” Francis Reyes stepped down from the role to instead become the team's manager.

Team Liquid PH's tenure in 2024 was the textbook definition of a rollercoaster year. In MPL Philippines Season 13, they were the best team in the league as they defeated 
AP.Bren (then Falcons AP.Bren) in the grand finals and represented the Philippines in the Mid Season Cup 2024. While their journey in the tournament wasn't ideal, they had a respectable showing by securing a 3rd-4th place finish.
However, all hell broke loose in Season 14. They performed well below their standard by only securing 5th place in the Regular Season. Furthermore, they also got eliminated early from the Playoffs by 
Aurora Gaming to end the season in 5th-6th place.
With their key goldlaner missing, It's still to be seen if OHEB and YukTzy can fill the shoes left by Bennyqt and carry the cavalry to the throne in MPL Philippines Season 15.
