ECHO's recently departed ace, Yawi, is confirmed as the newest member of AURA Fire
Former ECHO's ace, Tristan "Yawi" Cabrera, is confirmed as the newest member of AURA Fire that will play in MPL Indonesia Season 13. Yawi will join newly assigned analyst Facehugger in a new AURA Fire and one new player, Gugun from Team Bosque (Tiger Wong Esports).
This announcement has been rumoured for a while after Yawi left ECHO. This is because AURA Fire and ECHO are a sister team. Both of them are under the same AURA Esports organization.
The arrival of Yawi as a roamer makes Jehuda "High" Sumual, the previous roamer of AURA Fire, change his position for the team. Currently, he will occupy the jungle role with the departure of VAN to EVOS Glory.
Syn will fill the mid role without a substitute with Facehugger will be the new analyst for AURA Fire alongside CL. The duo of SaintDeLucaz and Pahlevi will still be the coaches for the team just as MPL Indonesia Season 12.

Before coming to AURA Fire, Yawi was an important member of ECHO. The organization was the winner of M4 World Championship, taking down Blacklist International in the grand final with a staggering score of 4-0.
Before becoming an esports athlete, Yawi was a basketball varsity player. Joining MPL Phillippines team from Season 6 onward, He already won the league once with ECHO. Interestingly, he won the M World Championship series first before taking the crown of MPL Phillippines.
AURA Esports was struggling in the previous season. They placed dead last in MPL Indonesia Season 12 with 5 wins and 11 losses. This record made them fail to advance to the playoff stage.
This failure from the previous season can, possibly, be the catalyst for their change and need to recruit the former world champion from their sister team.
