Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup makes its triumphant return

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup is making a comeback in 2021 with a virtual experience and in-game rewards.

Moonton, creators of the spectacular Mobile Legends: Bang Bang mobile game have confirmed that this year, the Southeast Asia Cup will be making its triumphant return, with a few changes due to the pandemic. After the MSC 2020 event was cancelled almost exactly a year ago, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with international travel regulations and regional lockdowns, Moonton have promised an entirely virtual experience coming with the return of MSC – which will include in-game events, time-limited skins and the “Double Event”.

MSC 2021 teaser

MSC 2021 is set to take place from June 7th to 13th, with a massive prize pool of $150,000, a roster of 12 teams from the SEA region and the appearance of some old or retired MLBB stars as special guests. All of this, alongside the aforementioned in-game events, is set to make MSC 2021 an absolute blast for both teams and fans alike.

Head of MSC at Moonton Games, Han Ziwei, had the following to say on the return of this amazing tournament,

We are excited to bring MSC back this year to reunite Southeast Asian fans and support their national teams with pride. We will continue to work closely with our partners to bring exhilarating experiences to our community and reenact certain activities offline.”

With the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to cause major problems across the globe, Moonton have promised to work closely with the local esports associations and teams in order to ensure that the players and all involved in MSC 2021 will have a safe space in which to compete.

We will have more information pertaining to the teams which will be participating, as well as the full schedule for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2021 in the near future – but for now you can keep up with everything via the official website here.
