Top Esports and Invictus Gaming will join LPL Top 2 seeds Bilibili Gaming and Anyone’s Legend in Beijing.
The League of Legends Pro League (LPL) locked in all four of its representatives for the League of Legends World Championship 2025 after a fiery weekend of competition at the LPL Regional Finals on Saturday, 27 September. The stage was set with four contenders, all determined by their accumulated championship points across the LPL 2025 season.
Top Esports and Invictus Gaming clinch third and fourth LPL Worlds 2025 slots
Top Esports (TES) entered the Upper Bracket with 150 championship points and seized the spotlight in the Upper Bracket Final, defeating
Invictus Gaming (IG), who had 95 championship points, with a 3-1 victory. The win secured TES the LPL’s third seed at Worlds 2025 and a direct ticket to Beijing.
In the lower half of the bracket,
JD Gaming (JDG) entered with 80 points, while
Weibo Gaming (WBG) came in with 65. Their clash ended in JDG’s favour with a 3-1 scoreline, setting them up for a showdown against IG in the Lower Bracket Final. IG proved dominant, dispatching JDG 3-1 to grab the LPL’s fourth and final seed.
As the fourth seed, Invictus Gaming will face an uphill battle to secure their place in the Worlds Swiss Stage. They are set for a high-stakes best-of-five against the LCK’s fourth seed and reigning 2024 World Champions,
T1. Only the winner of that clash will advance.
Bilibili Gaming and Anyone’s Legend lock in top seeds
Bilibili Gaming (BLG) locked the LPL’s first seed after a commanding run through Split 3. They opened playoffs with a tight 3-2 win over JDG in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals, followed by a 3-1 victory against IG in the semifinals. TES pushed them to the limit in the Upper Bracket Final, but BLG triumphed 3-2, and repeated that result in the Grand Finals to cement their top seeding.
Anyone's Legend (AL) claimed the second seed through consistency across all three splits. They earned 15 points with a runner-up finish in Split 1, 90 points after winning Split 2, and another 80 points with a third-place finish in Split 3. Their total of 185 championship points placed them just behind BLG and secured their direct qualification.
Worlds 2025 awaits in China
With BLG, AL, TES, and IG locked in, the LPL’s representatives now prepare for Worlds 2025 on home soil. The tournament begins in Beijing with the Play-ins and Swiss Stage, moves to Shanghai for the Playoffs, and concludes in Chengdu, where the Summoner’s Cup will be lifted.
