The League of Legends World Championship 2025 (also known as LoL Worlds 2025 or just Worlds 2025) is the crowning event of League of Legends esports for the year. The tournament includes 17 teams from all regions of the game in a months-long race for the Summoner's Cup. The tournaments begins with the Play-in stage where the winner of a Bo5 match qualifies into the next stage. The second stage is the Swiss Stage where 16 teams competes in a 5-round Swiss format where teams that reach 3 wins get to advance to the Knockout Stage while teams with 3 match losses will be eliminated. Both the Play-ins and Swiss stage will be played in: Beijing Smart Esports Center Remaining 8 teams proceeds to the Knockout Stage where they play in a Single Elimination bracket. All matches throughout are Best of 5 and will be using Fearless Draft. Quarterfinals upto Semifinals will be played in Mercedes-Benz Arena, Shanghai. The Grand Finals will be played at the Dong'an Lake Sports Park Multifunctional Gymnasium in Chengdu, China.
