With the LCK 2021 Spring Split in its final week and the PCS 2021 Spring season already heading to the playoff stage, we'll now take a look at the LEC and LCS Spring 2021 season. These tournaments are currently on-going in Europe and North America.

LEC Spring 2021

New recruit, Martin "Rekkles" Larsson has impressed for G2 Esports so far during the LEC 2021 Spring season.

Starting in Europe, we've had eight weeks of LoL action, all vying for that coveted spot to MSI 2021. All 10 teams had to play18 best-of-one group stage matches in a double round-robin format. First to fourth place goes into the semifinals while fifth and sixth would head to the first round of the loser's bracket.

These are the 10 teams and their final positions heading into the playoffs:

  1. G2 Esports
  2. Rogue
  3. MAD Lions
  4. FC Schalke 04 Esports
  5. Fnatic
  6. SK Gaming
  7. Misfits Gaming
  8. Excel Esports
  9. Astralis
  10. Team Vitality

G2 Esports will be facing off against FC Schalke 04 Esports in the semifinal while the next bracket features Rogue versus MAD Lions. In the loser bracket, you'll find veteran names in the industry, Fnatic and SK Gaming going head-to-head.

LCS Spring 2021

Former G2 Esports player, Luka "Perkz" Perković has made quite an impression in C9.

Looking into North America, the LCS Spring 2021 season showcases 10 of the top teams around the NA region in a double round-robin format. Each team plays 18 best-of-one matches, which lead to the playoffs, also known as the Mid Season Showdown. Only the top six teams can make it to the Mid Season Showdown with the top four moving on to the upper bracket while fifth and sixth start out in the lower bracket.

These are the 10 teams and their final positions heading into the playoffs:

  1. Cloud 9
  2. TSM
  3. Team Liquid
  4. 100 Thieves
  5. Dignitas
  6. Evil Geniuses
  7. Immortals
  8. FlyQuest
  9. Counter Logic Gaming
  10. Golden Guardians

The Mid Season Showdown is currently underway with C9 knocking 100 Thieves down with ease into the lower bracket where they will be facing off against Dignitas. In the other upper bracket match, we saw Team Liquid dismantle TSM, placing them in the other half of the lower bracket where they will play against EG.

This puts C9 in the winner bracket final against Team Liquid, where the winner will get to secure their slot for MSI 2021.
