Uzi to return to Royal Never Give Up

Once considered among the ranks of ADC royalty, Uzi returns home to reclaim his throne.

In a video posted recently, longstanding Chinese powerhouse Royal Never Give Up announced the return of storied marksman Jian "Uzi" Zi-Hao.

Uzi's return to the Royal brand, his first professional team and the team with whom he competed in two consecutive world championships, is a huge boost for the team. RNG has not been quite able to break through to the pinnacle of international competition just yet. Perhaps this addition will solidify their standing as a world class team once again.

Playing most recently for Newbee and the Qiao Gu Reapers, Uzi piled up an astounding 7.03 KDA in the 2016 LPL Spring season. At only 19 years old, he has the experience of someone far richer in years, but still has the potential to improve and reach his absolute prime. Since last donning the Royal black and gold in 2014 there is no doubt he has improved, and he is primed to bring a battle-tested presence to a lineup stacked with talented marksmen.

Royal Never Give Up have substantial decisions to make in the immediate future. Veteran Zhu "Namei" Jia-Wen and Wang "wuxx" Cheng are all excellent carries in their own right, but the return of Uzi may send one or both of them out the door.
