Royal Club kicked off the first game of the day with a first blood onto Kmi.  Royal Club continued to use a trademarked bottom lane with Bao playint the Leblanc support once again.  Royal Club made good utilization of their composition early on by grabbing an early dragon. Uzi blocked spells with spellshield and Bao zoned them shortly after.

A very well positioned dragon by Royal Club.

Uzi was once again a thriving factor for his team, They kept the tower lead and overall things were looking pretty good, even if Positive Energy were doing pretty well in skirmishes.  One deciding comeback point in the game was Royal Club getting caught out overzealously in Positive Energy's golem-side jungle, but with Uzi at a whopping 9-1-2 score in the late game.

Being a poke composition from behind, there was little Positive Energy could have done to turn around their game.  Royal Club had excellent siege potential and an even better teamfight potential.  With Uzi being ridiculously fed and Royal Club having the movespeed engage advantage, Royal Club easily closed out game one against Positive Energy.

Royal Club took a commanding kill lead in the second game as well with Nct playing Ryze and Uzi running Sivir once again.  Royal Club's rotations were really on point and they were able to take three towers while Positive Energy sat at zero 12 minutes in.

Crazy teamfights commenced in this set.  Royal Club shows the prominence of Ryze and the strong Jarvan ults.

Aluka attempted to bring back Season 3 with his Zac pick, but he was not faring well once again. Royal Club had astounding objective lead, but Positive Energy were doing an extremely good job in skirmishes.  Both marksman were playing well, but Uzi had an incredible lead.

With Uzi having a protective and shielding composition for Uzi's overfarmed, 10-1-5 Sivir, no one was able to shut down the primary damage source from Royal Club.  On top of the shields, Royal Club also had multiple methods of peeling in their repertoire.  After 31 minutes, Royal Club were able to close the set out 2 for 0.

 VS

LGD started with a commanding lead, starting off with 3 kills and 3 towers.  While Invictus Gaming is usually known for a strong early game, LGD were the ones deserving of that praise this time around, and for the first 20 minutes, LGD were absurdly dominant.  They acquired the first tower and first dragon as well as a huge kill lead.

LGD stayed ahead in kills for a very large portion of the game, but the towers were slowly turning in favor of Invictus Gaming, despite the powerful siege potential from LGD and their powerful marksman.  Invictus Gaming took the first inhibitor down at 32 minutes following their baron at 30 minutes.

Moar fighting!!

36 minutes in, LGD nearly aced Invictus Gaming while still maintaining their suport and marksman.  They were able to acquire an inhibitor and back off, keeping the game nearly even, but with LGD in an advantageous gold position.  Invictus Gaming were able to swing the game around and grab the first win of the set.

Invictus Gaming kicked things off aggressively with an early blue buff invade and Quan replied by doing the same. iG took the reigns that they hadn't last game and established an early game lead.  The game was even once again with LGD having slightly better gold distribution, but Invictus Gaming put up a huge fight, hungry for their first 2-0 of the season.

Star attempted to use Irelia, as his strong point is typically damage dealing top laners, but it was not going so hot for him in this game.  Not only was he relentlessly capped, but he suffered a horrible farm deficiency as well.  Illusions heavy kill participation allowed for his team to come out ahead in many fights.

LGD taking advantage of mispositioning.

Invictus Gaming were very clearly in a rush for their victory.  27 minutes in they were knocking at the nexus towers and even managed to take one down, and any counterplay meant punishment for LGD.  Up double in kills and towers, Invictus Gaming were staring their first potential 2-0 straight in the face.

The final phase of the game would be between Invictus Gaming racing baron while LGD shoved mid extremely hard. Invictus Gaming recalled after grabbing baron and LGD overstayed their welcome.  Kid was able to kite off any opposition, roll over LGD, and push down mid for the game ending push that would finally earn them a decisively won set.
