It was the final last month, it will get a rematch this month - MiTH.s2y and Turtle Master are once again squaring off for the G-League Championship in Thailand. Can MiTH.s2y repeat or can Turtle Master finally get the title?
History might repeat itself in the Thailand HoN Tour event this May. Once again the playoff teams were Turtle Master, MiTH.s2y, Neolution eSports.MRR and KaiD, once again the seeding situation for the playoffs was identical and once again the same teams won - just like it was still April.

With the game being tied, both teams were just one little mistake away from their season ending right on the spot. Once again it was KaiD suffering that fate, who simply got outplayed on the third and deciding map by the great MRR squad. In the most important match three members of Neolution eSports.MRR recorded GPM numbers around the 400 mark. The shining player was swindleball on the SEA carry of choice, Sandwraith, who recorded a stunning 529 GPM and 626 XPM, carrying his team to the promise land - or in this case the Semifinals.
In the first game of the day KaiD and Neolution eSports.MRR once again went at it for the honor of advancing to the Semifinals of the G-League. First it looked like KaiD did their homework and have finally caught up to their nemesis of MRR, the same team they lost to in the Grand Finals of the February season. After jumping to a 1-0 head start, MRR retaliated and came back to level the playing field once again - after a 52 minute clash.

The stage was set for yet another great engagement of the two marvelous squads, with both teams hoping for a positive result to be allowed to challenge Turtle Master on the final day of the competition.
In that match Neolution eSports.MRR once again faced their arch rivals in MiTH.s2y, who did end their dominance in the Thai region, starting with the Lower Bracket Semifinal match at the coveted GSL event. From that point forward the Sorry Sorry crew defeated the once dominant MRR on several occasions - most prominently in the last G-League playoffs.
Made in Thailand got the better start into the series with a 29 minute victory on the first map, with their main carry tianzanaruk5 struggling heavily on his Master of Arms,. Still the team fight coordination and good damage output by Rally, War Beast and even MoA was enough to make MRR concede.
Just like in the first series against KaiD, Neolution eSports.MRR was not done though, once again they displayed splendid morale and resilience when facing tough situations. They struck back yet again with swindleball playing a fantastic Amun-Ra in the contest. His spotless statline of 6/0/10 while recording XPM and GPM numbers well over 500 are telling the story of the match quite well. No one on the MiTH side could even come close to the great numbers and this time their team chemistry couldn't save them either.
It was time for the third and deciding match. Not only pride and glory was on the line, but also the spot in the Grand Finals, the chance to once again become G-League Champion - an honor both teams have had before. In the draft both teams decided to stick to the heroes that worked for them before. On the side of MRR that meant a return of Amun-Ra, for Sorry Sorry War Beast and Rally made their way into the lineup.
In the end it was MiTH.s2y who walked out victorious of the highly contested and close encounter. Both teams gave it their all, both teams fought till the end, but Sorry Sorry got the happy end on their side. The team around tianzanaruk5 and Peter_yedss will live to fight another day against their new rivals Turtle Master tomorrow.
The teams have met each other on two different occasions lately with MiTH.s2y winning both the G-League April Grand Finals and the DreamHack Thai Qualifier Grand Finals against the Turtles. Can the former DotA team record their first big victory in HoN or will the reigning G-League Champion throne over the Thai scene once more?
