Destination: Undies refusing to go down

Tt eSports and GaryJohnson2012 are continuing to march through Group A. GJ12 obliterated TeamKierk today in a very quick series featuring a dominant Khezu Tremble and a great Devourer played by mzry. On the back of Tremble, GJ12 steamrolled TeamKierk, setting up a huge match on Day 5 that could already clinch their playoff ticket. The same goes for Tt eSports, who won against QsQ357 today. Both teams can basically clinch their playoff berth tomorrow, just one day before their head-to-head matchup on day six of the competition.

The rest of the field is grateful for the loss of QsQ357 because the race for the third advancing spot is still wide open. TheReturners could beat the direct rival for the third spot, PienetPelit, to rest and therefor put themselves into a very good position for the remainder of the tournament.

In the last match CallItKarma claimed their very first victory of the group stage, going head-to-head with the fellow Europeans from FackyouKurdi. The road to DreamHack is now very long for FyKu and C1K for that matter, but mathematically no team is out yet.

Group B is getting closer and closer to being decided early. BunkerDown, Pikachu and Lions all collected four victories already, with BunkerDown and Lions have done it in six and five games, respectively. Pikachu on the other hand has only played the scheduled four matches, winning three of them. Pika holds an edge over BunkerDown with a direct victory, but has the disadvantage of a direct loss against Lions - suffered today.

The rest of the schedule saw zhiT go down to WILL SMITH, so the Australians have gathered the second straight win after yesterday. Still they are a long way away from the DreamHon tickets since they can only get to a 5-2 record with a direct loss against Lions, who are on pace for a 5-2 record of their own.

The last scheduled match between DenmarkOwnsSweden and Black Sheep got postponed to tomorrow.
