Here’s your first look at the Tsaritsa.
HoYoverse has finally released a first look at Genshin Impact’s upcoming Version 7.0 characters and region Snezhnaya with an all-new "Sudden Snow" trailer. The five-minute trailer also brings a highly-anticipated character reveal: Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya, AKA the Tsaritsa, a Cryo Archon who players have only caught glimpses of to date.

Who are the new characters in Genshin Impact Version 7.0 and who are their voice actors?
Genshin Impact’s highly-anticipated Version 7.0 trailer has introduced all-new faces players can expect to meet while exploring the update’s new region, Snezhnaya. The region will launch with Version 7.0, and add an all-new snowy area for players to explore.

When is Genshin Impact Version 7.0 launching?
Genshin Impact Version 7.0 will launch after the upcoming Version Luna VIII update, which is set for release on 1 July, 2026. Version 7.0 will add a whole new region and cast of characters to the beloved action-RPG, and will likely launch sometime in August 2026.
However, HoYoverse has not announced a release date for Genshin Impact Version 7.0 yet.
What is Genshin Impact Version 7.0 about?
Genshin Impact's upcoming Version 7.0 will finally bring players to the snowy nation of Snezhnaya, where we must face against the Cryo Archon, whose motives have helped set into motion the overarching story of the game so far. With all but the Pyro Gnosis in her hands, it looks like the Cryo Archon is finally going to lay all her cards down on the table.
However, it also seems that Snezhnaya is also undergoing its own kind of crisis. What exactly that crisis is, we're yet to find out.
