The biggest announcements from PlayStation's September 2025 State of Play

PlayStation’s latest State of Play dropped multiple new announcements, including a look at Marvel's Wolverine.

Sony Interactive Entertainment held a State of Play presentation this week, dropping new trailers and announcements for upcoming PlayStation 5 video games. The show finally gave us a new look at Marvel’s Wolverine from Insomniac Games, along with fresh gameplay for Saros, Housemarque’s next action-packed shooter. 

Here are all the announcements and trailers you missed from the September 2025 State of Play!

Saros (20 March, 2026)

Returnal developer Housemarque has shown off a new look at Saros, a sci-fi third-person shooter.

Zero Parades - For Dead Spies (2026)

Despite the mass exodus over at Disco Elysium developer ZA/UM, the studio has revealed its next big RPG.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (8 December, 2025)

Microsoft Flight Simulator is coming to PlayStation 5 consoles later this year.

Battlefield 6 (10 October, 2025)

Electronic Arts has dropped a trailer for Battlefield 6’s singleplayer campaign. 

Deus Ex Remastered (2 May, 2026)

The classic immersive sim game Deus Ex has been remastered. 

Halloween: the Game (8 September, 2026)

After starring in a recent trilogy of horror movies, Michael Myers returns in this multiplayer Halloween game. 

Let it Die: Inferno (3 December, 2025)

Marvel’s Wolverine (Fall 2026)

Marvel’s Wolverine is shaping up to be just as violent as the character tends to be in Marvel Comics. After all, he's really good at what he does, and what he does isn't very nice. 

This trailer also features Mystique, Omega Red, and a Sentinel, hinting at more familiar faces to come from the pages of X-Men comicbooks.
