OG confirm new Dota 2 roster with Lelis and Stojkov

OG's new roster for the 2026 season will officially debut in the DreamLeague Season 27: Western Europe qualifier.

Iconic organisation OG has officially revealed its new Dota 2 roster for the 2026 season, assembling a mix of previous members and new additions. Following the departures of Ivan “Kidaro” Bondarev and Daniel “Stormstormer” Schoetzau, OG have signed renowned Brazilian support player Rodrigo “Lelis” Santos in the position 5 role and will trial new North Macedonian talent Igor “Stojkov” Stojkov in the mid lane.

Several players from the previous roster remain on the team. Indji “Shad” Lub returns as the carry, while rising talents Mihailo “MikSa`” Jovanovic and Tamir “daze” Tokpanov stay on as the offlaner and position 4 support, respectively.

As in the previous season, the team will be coached by OG co-owner and Dota 2 veteran Johan “N0tail” Sundstein, best known for leading OG to back-to-back The International (TI) championships in 2018 and 2019. He will be joined by German player Hovitey, who will assist in the coaching role.

OG kickstarts its 2026 campaign with a new roster

Despite OG’s iconic legacy, the team has struggled to return to its peak form in recent years. Once a dominant force with unprecedented back-to-back TI titles, OG has endured a prolonged slump since 2023–failing to qualify for TI for three consecutive years, missing out on major tournaments, and barely maintaining relevance in Tier 2 competitions.

In 2025, the roster continued to struggle with inconsistencies. OG underwent frequent player changes and constant trials leading up to TI qualifiers, each time without success. The final lineup–Shad, Stormstormer, Miksa, daze, and Kidaro–fell just short of qualifying for the championship, narrowly losing a crucial map to Nigma Galaxy for the final slot.

That performance, however, offered a glimmer of hope. Riding the momentum, OG went on to win CCT Season 2 Series 4, their first tournament victory since ESL One Malaysia 2022. The team followed up with another win at CIS Battle 2, where Stojkov and Lelis stepped in as stand-ins. Although these victories may not carry the same prestige as major tournament wins, it was still a major step forward in OG’s recovery from their prolonged slump.

Stojkov, 26, most recently competed for Serbian team Zero Tenacity, gaining recognition through strong showings in various Tier 2-3 events. Lelis, 28, now OG’s team captain, is a respected Brazilian support known for his tenure in North America’s top-tier scene, including a Top 8 finish at TI 2021.

The chemistry displayed during CIS Battle 2 has fueled optimism within OG. With early signs of synergy, the organisation rallied the roster officially for a shot in the next Dota 2 competitive season.

Fans won’t have to wait long to see them in action–OG has received a direct invite to the closed qualifiers of DreamLeague Season 27: Western Europe.

There, OG will face formidable competition including Natus Vincere, MOUZ, Virtus.pro, and AVULUS. The top three teams will earn a spot at DreamLeague Season 27, the first tournament of the ESL Pro Tour 2025/2026 season.
