Natus Vincere’s main Dota 2 team was moved to inactive after the organisation was unable to sign a full roster.
Natus Vincere (NAVI) started the new season with a pleasant surprise for the Dota 2 fans. They competed at PGL Wallachia Season 2 after The International 2024, with Clement "Puppey" Ivanov, Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan and Bozhidar "bzm" Bogdanov standing in and reached the top 4 at the 1 million dollar tournament. It was for sure a rare occurrence, as usually, tournament organizers won’t allow a team to compete with three stand-ins. It was also the first time in over a decade that we got to see Puppey playing once again for the legendary NAVI, the organization he claimed the Aegis of Champions with at the very first The International back in 2011.
But while a bit of nostalgia was much welcomed at the start of the season, moving forward NAVI is forced to stick to one team, NAVI Junior.
“We are currently unable to assemble a competitive roster of full-time players,” announced NAVI on their official website while also thanking their former roster for their efforts and time spent with the organization. “We would like to thank all of the players who have performed for NAVI over the past year – Yuragi, sanctity-, nefrit, W_Zayac, Malady and coach Sword_Art, as well as BOOM, Puppey, and bzm, for the excellent matches in Bucharest. We wish them the best of luck in their future careers!”

At the same time, NAVI confirmed that they will keep their secondary team, NAVI Junior, but did not confirm what is the full roster for that. According to the announcement, NAVI Junior will compete in the upcoming tournaments.
