Two more bite the dust at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, tiebreakers are next

BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 group stage ended after five days of two-games series held between the 12 teams that entered the competition.

Four teams, two from Group A and two from Group B fell short of a playoff spot. After Group A waved goodbye to Aurora and Virtus.pro yesterday, OG and nouns bowed out of the contention placing at the bottom of Group B.

For all the eliminated teams, a few too many draw scores and a couple of 0-2 losses led to a short lived tournament experience in Dubai. The group play concluded with OG fighting against Team Spirit for a shot at forcing tiebreakers in Group. But despite a phenomenal gameplay display in the first match from OG and a good start in game two, Team Spirit regained control through Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk on Naga Siren.

While the group stage has decided who got eliminated, the playoffs seeding is far from being over. Given the two-game series format in the group play. In Group A, for instance, all the top four teams are tied 6-4 in game score and will proceed to best-of-one tiebreakers.

Moving into the playoffs, the winner of Group A will be seeded against BetBoom Team, the second placed team will be pitted against Azure Ray, the third placed team will face off against Team Spirit, while the fourth placed team will begin its playoffs journey against Xtreme Gaming.
