Fnatic and TNC end week one in SEA Winter Tour with no victories

While Fnatic are just 0-2 at the end of the first week of the Dota Pro Circuit, TNC Predator are already 0-4.

Both Fnatic and TNC Predator reshaped their rosters in the post TI10 shuffle and it seems that both will need more time to find the synergy between their members. Fnatic, who changed just two players while also moving Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong in the offlane, had just one series scheduled on week one and failed to start the Winter Tour on the right foot.

They got pitted against Team SMG and although they had the lead in game one, they were outmaneuvered by SMG's Tue "ah fu" Soon Chuan on Earthshaker in both games of the series.

Headed into the next game, Fnatic let SMG pick the same supports and the same carry, while they tried to address the tempo game with an offlane Beastmaster and a mid Invoker. Despite focusing on securing superior vision and team fight control, they still got outplayed in those areas by SMG, who closed the draft with a Night Stalker and secured their first 2-0 victory.

For TNC, who enter the road to TI 11 with a completely new line-up, the first week in the Winter Tour went from bad to worse. They started with a demoralizing loss against T1, who crushed them 41 to 6 in game one and closed the second game with over 30K gold advantage courtesy of Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon’s signature Morphling.

TNC’s next series was held against Motivate.Trust Gaming, who despite making a few mistakes in game one and chain feeding, nearly throwing the whole lead they got through the laning stage, were still able to recover and walk with the game one victory courtesy of strong performances from both Poomipat "Fearless" Trisiripanit and Natthaphon "Masaros" Ouanphakdee.

Game two featured a four protect one strategy from MTG, who played around their Medusa farm, which put them somewhat behind in the laning stage, but as expected, gave them the much stronger late game scenario to close the series 2-0.

Unfortunately, for one team between TNC and Fnatic, the losing streak is bound to keep on going as they will be pitted against each other at the beginning of week 2 matches, on December 8.
