Following an underwhelming run at The International 10, the entire roster of Thunder Predator departed the organization, but will stick together for the next competitive year.
Thunder Predator captain Joel Mori "MoOz" Ozambela announced the team’s decision of parting ways with the organization a few days after their TI10 run came to an end in the group stage.
Ahead of TI10, Thunder Predator were regarded as one of the best teams coming from South America, and one to look out for at the biggest tournament of the year. They performed exceptionally well during the DPC season, placing top three in both regional leagues and made it to the Singapore Major, where they impressed the world with a 5th/6th place finish with upsets over the likes of PSG.LGD, Alliance, Team Aster and Virtus.pro.
Unfortunately, at TI10 Thunder Predator crumbled in the group stage and exited the tournament in the 17th/18th place with a disastrous 0-16 game record.
Now that days have passed and emotions are not that much in the way, I would like to say sorry to all the fans for our TI10 performance.
Since we started this team we all had the same hunger and goal and it’s a huge disappointment for us how things turned out. All we have left is to learn from this experience and come back stronger, maintain our determination and hunger because there’s plenty of life to be lived and big dreams we want to fulfill. – MoOz”
Entering the post TI10 shuffle, Thunder Predator thanked their players for the good memories, but haven’t announced their plans for the next competitive year.
