Pikachu parts ways with Team Unique during EPIC League playoffs

Yaroslav “Pikachu” Vasilenko parts ways with Team Unique during their EPIC League Season 3 Division 2 playoff run.

Team Unique has been grinding it out in EPIC League Season 3 Division 2. After falling to the lower brackets in Round 2, Yaroslav “Pikachu” Vasilenko was not part of the lineup, instead, they began playing with Yahor “Ergon” Kazlou as a stand-in. Ergon is still under contract with Team Spirit after being moved to the team’s inactive roster in December. Since then, he has competed with Alexey “Solo” Berezin and the NoTechies stack during the DPC 2021 Season 1.

According to the team's official VK page (Russian social media page similar to facebook), the midplayer has officially left the roster.

Pikachu has played with Team Unique on three different occasions. This last stint starting in January and lasting almost two full months.

Since his departure, Team Unique have been overpowering their opponents as they fight for a place in the grand finals —first sweeping through Team Empire, then EXTREMUM

Their next series is the lower bracket finals versus Prosti Esli featuring  Pavel "9pasha" Khvastunov. The games will begin later today at 11:00 CET. The winner will then proceed to the grand finals against Puck Champ at 14:00 CET.
