headline image: EPICENTER

Royal Never Give Up (RNG) moved Gao “Setsu” Zhenxiong to inactive status in order to give him the time to recover from lingering health issues, the organization announced over Weibo.

Although the decision is “temporary”, per RNG’s announcement, Setsu might not be playing in the next season of China DPC regional league with his team. The organization has officially signed Lei “Dstones” Deng to take Setu’s place in the mid lane. Dstones was transferred from Sparking Arrow Gaming, who following the player’s transaction are down to four members on the team and haven’t announced a replacement yet.

RNG current line-up:

Zhong “圣子华炼God-King-SzhL” Liushuai
Lei “Dstones” Deng
Su “Flyby” Lei
Wei Lun “FelixCiaoBa” Chong
Junhao “Super!” Xie

Sparking Arrow Gaming current line-up

Hou “idc” Xiaomeng
Shiyang “Son Goku” Lin
Xue “September” Zhichuan
Chaojian “XCJ” Xiao

Both teams have promoted to China upper division for the second season of Dota Pro Circuit and will start their road to the second Major of the year on April 13. Until then, both have been invited to the upcoming i-League 2021 tournament. RNG got a free pass straight into the main event, while SAG will be fighting starting next week in the qualifiers rounds.

Taking into account that i-League 2021 closed qualifiers commence this coming Monday, March 22, SAG are expected to make an announcement regarding Dstone’s replacement rather soon.
