Valve announced the full talent lineup for The Boston Major, and as promised a month ago, the event host is a surprise.
Alex 'Machine' Richardson, host and commentator for CS:GO, will make his Dota2 debut in Boston. He is a well-known figure in the CS:GO community, although his big scene hosting career started only two years ago. Machine is a regular of ESL’s CS:GO events and a very popular host for other big tournaments. In 2016 alone, he has already hosted 18 CS:GO championships and will end the year with his very first Dota 2 event.
Along with the new host announcement, Valve released the full list of the English, Russian and Chinese broadcast teams. The usual suspects for the English panels will be present in Boston for the last big event of the year, however you will find quite a few missing names.
The Russian talent is also packed with familiar faces, including Vitalii v1lat Volochai, Vladimir 'PGG' Anosov, Roman Lepokhin CaspeRRR Dmitriy, 'LighTofHeaveN' Kupriyanov, Alexander 'XBOCT' Dashkevich and Artur 'Goblak' Kostenko, all part of The International 6 broadcast team as well.
