Fnatic book tickets for LA

Fnatic swept through MVP Phoenix once more, this time at The Summit 5 regional qualifiers, to secure the spot for the LAN event.

The two teams keep on clashing in SEA qualifiers at various events, but with or without Chai Yee 'Mushi' Fung the Malaysians seem to have the upper hand against the Koreans. Although some doubted Fnatic’s future performance after the Wai Pern 'Net' Lim switch and especially after the failed wild card competition from EPICENTER, the SEA champions struck back with yet another clean 3-0 victory against their biggest rivals in the region.

With Mushi fully returning to the team, Fnatic drafted the good old Shadow Fiend for their captain in the mid lane and rotated Yeik Zheng 'MidOne' Nai into the carry role. All three games ended close to the 30 minute mark with a tremendous kill lead in Fnatic’s favor.

With the NA, SEA and Chinese spots already filled, The Summit's five regional qualifiers will end today after Europe confirms their participants. The best of five grand final will be held at 17:00 CET between Virtus.Pro and Ad Finem. The Greeks managed to eliminate Alliance yesterday with a 2-0 game score in the lower bracket finals and will rejoin VP for a rematch in the upper bracket finals.

The Summit 5 qualified teams:

United States Digital Chaos
China Wings Gaming
Malaysia Fnatic
Europe TBD
