EHOME have lost their chance for a qualifier invite to The International 6 as eLeVeN will take a competitive break due to personal issues.
Failing to qualify for the Manila Major and with no other big LAN events planned for the EHOME, their carry Ren 'eLeVeN' Yangwei has decided to put his career on pause until after TI 6. According to the official announcement made via a twitlonger post by the team, eLeVeN wants to be close to his grandfather during his illness and will be welcomed back to the team whenever he feels ready to return.
It’s still uncertain who will replace eLeVeN, as the official announcement made today states that the organization has still to decide on the fifth player joining the team.
However, EHOME didn’t register any substitute players on the majors registration list at the end of the Spring Shuffle, which means that they will be forced to either transfer a player from another team, or to look in the free agents pool.
Either way, as a result of this EHOME cannot receive an invite for TI6, as the rules disqualify any org that changes their roster after March 27 from receiving one. This means they will be forced to fight for their place at the biggest tournament of the year, The International 6, from the open qualifiers.
EHOME current roster:
empty
Wang 'old chicken' Zhiyong
Daryl Koh 'iceiceice' Pei Xiang
Zhang 'LaNm' Zhicheng
Lu 'Fenrir' Chao
