Liquid has received the third and presumably final direct invite to the ESL One Frankfurt LAN event.
With this announcement, three of the eight teams participating in the ESL One Frankfurt LAN event on the 18th and 19th of June in Frankfurt, Germany at the Commerzbank-Arena have been confirmed. The remaining teams will be decided by the American, Chinese, SEA and European qualifiers.
Coming in fifth on Gosurankings global and second on Gosurankings Europe & CIS due to Liquid's stellar performance during the winter season, and having ended the season with a second place at the Shanghai Major, TL are in fine form at present. Keeping their roster static for the spring season, there is no reason to suspect a drop-off in performance in their upcoming events.
The ESL One Frankfurt LAN event will feature a $250,000 prize pool and eight teams competing for it, with the two other teams currently confirmed to be taking part in the event being Alliance and OG. Over the coming weeks, the qualifiers for the various regions will be played and the eight teams participating in the event will be finalized.
