With the $250,000 prize pool and eight teams attending the event, ESL One Manila is set to be one of the biggest tournaments in Philippines before the Major, which will take place in the same capital city later this year.
One of the strongest Chinese teams of the moment, EHOME will meet their fans from 23th to 24th April at the Mall of Asia in Manila as they are the first team announced by the organizers.
After The International 5, EHOME have made some serious roster changes, firstly passing the captainship from Fan "rOtk" Bai to Zhi Cheng "LaNm" Zhang who was willing to put all his faith in a youngster line-up.
With their fourth placement at the Frankfurt Major, which was the best performance of a Chinese team at event, third place at Nanyang Championships and the winnings of both Radiant & Dire Cup and Shanghai Dota 2 Open, EHOME is arguably the best Chinese team of the moment, hence their ESL One Manila invite.
One more team remains to be invited with a further six to come through regional qualifiers as follows: two from South East Asia, one from the Philippines, one from the United States and one from Europe.
