It seems that the talent desk for the upcoming Dota 2 Major has been decided and some of the personalities expected to get an invite are actually not on the list.
There is no official announcement yet about who will be going to commentate and host the Shanghai Major but Paul 'ReDeYe' Chaloner and Alan 'Nahaz' Bester are not granted with an invite for the event.
Both of them confirmed the fact over their twitter accounts. Besides them, no other Dota 2 personalities have disclosed their status so far. But David 'LD' Gorman made public the fact that Perfect World will not use any English observer.
LD’s statement was also confirmed by Vitalii 'v1lat' Volochai who said that the Russian casting team was told that they will have to work with Chinese observers. Now, this is quite an interesting decision taken by Perfect World as chances to find Russian crew members talking Chinese or the other way around are very low.
The decision got a lot of disapproving reactions over the social media channels and it will be interesting to see if Valve and Perfect World will change their minds regarding the observers situation.
