The recently rebranded US Team Mischief into Team Freedom are the first American squad to advance into the regional qualifiers of Shanghai major.
After getting picked up by an US organization dedicated to raising money for charity to promote competitive gaming in late December 2015 Mischief became Team Freedom.
With the new change Team Freedom will dedicate a percentage of all their winnings to charity, Zach Rock, team manager saying in their official announcement the followings:
With such a noble goal ahead, TF signed up for the US open qualifiers and marched to the final victory dropping only one game in the best-of-three semifinals against DreamIs True to take afterwards a clear 2-0 game score against the Peruvians from Elite Wolves in the finals.

Although in the first day of US open qualifiers we witnessed an incredible return of Ben "Merlini" Wu who managed to set a new record in K/D/A terms with a personal score of 45-0-32 during the four games Vegetable eSports had, they sadly lost the first match of day two in front of Unique_Technique and got eliminated.
The US favorites for the second spot in the regional qualifiers, Elite Wolves, T Show and Luccini will have the chance to meet Vegetable eSports again in the second round of the US open qualifiers. First game of the day will start today, January 5th at 19:00 CET.
