GeC Dreamhack Moscow: Empire stage their return

Empire has made it into the grand finals of the GeC Dreamhack Moscow LAN finals after defeating 4C&L and Vega in the winner's bracket.

Empire are finally showing some signs of life after their huge slump following TI5, being unable to settle with a stable roster and also failing to achieve any notable results. However, at the Global eSports Club the team seems to have finally found their momentum, managing to crush Vega, 2-0 and take down one of the playoffs first placer and tournament favorites, 4C&L, 2-1.

Empire will face the winner of Vega vs 4C&L in the best-of-five grand finals of the GeC Dreamhack Moscow finals at 13:00 CET today; the two teams will be battling for the first place prize of $125,000.

The most likely opponent to face Empire in the finals of the GeC is 4C&L; 4C&L defeated Vega 2-0 in the playoffs at the Vilnius LAN event and have also shown better results against Empire, losing 2-1 as opposed to Vega's 2-0 lose. However, it must be kept in mind that Vega, on a good day, can take down most top teams in the world.
