Vega, a team who was predicted to place highly in this tournament, have been eliminated after losing to 4C&L and then getting crushed by Empire.
Vega and Monkey Freedom Fighters are the first two teams to be eliminated from Dream League #4, leaving four teams to battle it out for their stake of the $150,000 prize pool. The tournament will start its second day on the 27th of November at 14:00 with a best-of-three between Alliance and 4C&L.
MFF's early elimination should come as no surprise because of two reasons, firstly, they had unlucky match-ups, going against the two eventually phase one winners, and secondly, MFF have not been performing very well, holding a 33% win rate last month. On the other hand, Vega's elimination comes as a slight surprise as they had shown the capacity to take down Empire in the winner's bracket but fell short in the loser's bracket against them, losing the series 2-0.
