Frankfurt Major: The SEA hope is dead, Mineski is eliminated

Mineski has been eliminated from the Frankfurt Majors after losing 0-2 in their best-of-three against OG in the loser bracket.

Mineski's loss and subsequent elimination results in them obtaining a 9th-12th place finish and $45,000 worth of prize money.

Game one:

Mineski was read like a book in game one of this series, their lineup did not achieve any of their desired goals in the early game due to good tactical decisions from OG. These decisions allowed OG's Bane and Slardar to secure multiple kills in the early game which shut down Mineski's Ember Spirit and also created space for the team's Gyrocopter and Shadow Fiend. With the constant pressure on Mineski, OG managed to farm up and get good pick offs which allowed them to spiral out of control and crush Mineski.

Game two:

In this game, Mineski drafted a lineup they were more comfortable with, picking up a QOP and Tusk. This comfort paid off for the team as QOP was able to quickly secure eight kills by the ten minute mark. However, OG were able to capitalize on the multiple mistakes made by Mineski, scoring a few ganks and solo kills; one of the ganks managed to kill the QOP which was on the brink of snowballing out of control. Having tied up the game in terms of kills, OG kept finding the ganks and team fights needed to secure themselves a large lead. When OG's SF ruined a Rosh attempt by Mineski with his ulti blowing up two on Mineski, OG was able obtain complete map control. With the control, OG was able to farm and get up key items for going for the throne; using the new items, OG broke high ground with ease and forced Mineski's GG.
