Mineski and Dj secure their visas for the Fall Major

The Filipinos taking part in the Fall Majors have secured their German visas with the help of a few organizations in the Philippines.

Mineski and Fnatic's offlaner, Djardel 'Dj' Mampusti, have secured their visas for the Frankfurt Majors with the help of Senator Bam Aquino and the Philippines eSports Association. With their German visas secured, Mineski's road to the Frankfurt Majors is basically clear and Fnatic has secured one of their harder to secure visas.

Mineski's announcement:

The first obstacle to the #RoadToFrankfurt has been demolished! Europe VISAs secured! This would all not be possible without the help of Senator Bam Aquino and his crew as well as PESPA (Philippine eSports Association), our biggest thanks to them!!!

Earlier this year, during the weeks leading up to the TI5 qualifiers, Rave, a Filipino team, faced massive visa issues which prevented them from returning to their training house in Korea; the visa issue was only solved before the start of the TI5 qualifiers and with the help of senator Bam Aquino. Although the issue was resolved on time, many fans of Rave blamed their poor performance at the TI5 qualifiers on the weeks of lost practice time spent resolving the visa issues.

Having helped resolve Rave's visa issues, it seems that senator Bam Aquino have taken steps to ensure that visas will no longer cause trouble for the Filipino teams and players.
