(Monkey) Business partner with Hitbox.tv to rebrand as OG

The team that has been dominating since its formation on August 29th 2015, (monkey) Business has officially stated they will be playing under a new banner, OG.

(monkey) Business, a team that hasn’t been around for very long, have announced that as of the Frankfurt Major they shall be known as OG. The short lived team has shown excellent potential in terms of the player’s capabilities and has created a shock in the world of professional Dota 2.

Reading more into their Facebook post, the team explains why they are being rebranded in further details. The main gist of the post talks about how much Dota has changed, and how it used to be played for a couple of flights and hotels paid for, or for a couple of gaming goodies such as mice or keyboards. Now things have gotten so big that players wouldn’t even need to be worried too much about their next month’s rent. But the main problem that they faced was that the organisations were always in dominant control. The players were always told what to do, and who to promote as well as being told what they were worth.

All that is about to change with the founding of OG. While the players at OG will still be contracted to the team, they will retain their own rights. The founding members of the team shall be N0tail and Fly who have taken responsibility of grooming the team and making the required negotiation to make this happen. OG’s leading partner will be the ones that have led them here thus far, and will remain to be, Hitbox.tv. Making no roster changes, Johan 'N0tail-BigDaddy' Sundstein, Amer 'Miracle'  Barqawi, Andreas 'Cr1t-' Nielsen, Tal 'Fly-simba' Aizik, and David 'MoonMeander' Tan, will be the line-up for OG. The team shall be bootcamping in Germany as of next week, until the Frankfurt Major, where we shall see their first match.
