"Giff Immortal 3" call finally answered

About nine hours ago, the highly anticipated $10,000,000 compendium stretch goal reward, Immortal Treasure III, has been released. The new treasure contains nine immortals.

The patch implemented into the Dota2 client on the 10th of July brought to all compendium holders the highly anticipated Immortal Treasure III, which features a new set of nine items designed for heroes that were not covered in the first two installments. The previews of these brand new shiny immortals can be found on the Dota2 website.

On the assumption that Valve does not release any more stretch goals, the Immortal Treasure III represents the closing chapter of the series for  The International 5. The production time for this treasure stretched for 41 days, which is 22 days more than what it took Valve to release the previous batch and with the hype generated by unofficial previews for Meepo and Lion, this particular release became the highest anticipated one, as it was, in the community's eyes, long overdue.

But Valve delivered in the end, especially for Zeus, who is one of the few heroes left in the pool with no cusomizations and the Invoker item that bears a description referencing the popular manga Dragon Ball Z.

The previous Immortal treasures caused a spike in the TI5 prize pool and in the hours since the Immortal 3 has been released, the prize pool has increased by $200,000 and it is expected to keep this trend for the following days.
