The long awaited Immortal Treasure II has been released with seven heroes (2 Anti-Mage immortals) receiving a custom gear to enhance the looks of their skills.
The Immortal Treasure II is the second immortal treasure handed out via The International 2015 Compendium, courtesy of the prize pool of TI5 breaching the $7,000,000 mark.
The release of immortal treasures in 2014 Compendium triggered a $700,000 spike in prize pool increase and is expected to do the same this year. With the prize pool contribution decreasing day by day, the release of Immortal Treasure II was much needed to regain the community's interest in The International 5.
At the time of writing, the prize pool is at $9,427,460, a significant $180,000 increase in just three hours time. Another $700,000 increase in prize pool will put the prize pool at $10,000,000, unlocking Immortal Treasure III.
